According to Ronan, we have just been “wondering around” the last week or so. (I think he meant wandering, because he is anxious to get to a beach that is actually warm, but I like how he used the word wondering.)

In just the last few days we have seen some amazing things. From a beach near Arcata with crazy sustained winds (30-35 mph?) that helped Brandon perfect his long jump, to “Salami horns” near the shore (just like tornado horns, and it is hard to say tsunami). Amazingly tall and large trees, wild flowers that look like fuchsias, and a new friend in our campsite- Mr. Banana Slug!
