Northern California is cool in many ways. We have seen some truly awesome trees. A 3000 year old fallen tree with trees growing from it (which were giants themselves). Or a stump which was a foot in diameter during the crusades and grew through the signing of the Declaration of Independence and beyond. I bet few, if any, people laid their hands on the tree before the axe!

Kids had a great time talking to Paul Bunyan. Really.

If I haven’t mentioned this already, the iPhone is great. We are posting all pics and blog entries from the phone. We even left all other cameras at home. Uploading to the blog is really easy and we would probably not have posted at all if we were using a regular camera an laptop.
