Yosemite sure gets a lot of hype, but we found that it absolutely lives up to it! We came in on highway 120 from the Mammoth Lakes area and saw the higher country first, then explored the huge sequoias in the Mariposa Grove the next morning, drove out to Glacier Point for a picnic and the view, and finished in the valley by taking a kid-friendly walk to Bridal Veil Falls. We also explored the visitor center and took a quick walk through the Indian Village display before heading out.

It was such an amazingly beautiful place, and we barely scratched the surface of what there is to explore. We’ll definitely be back going back someday.
